2 out of 5 stars Too complicated, but ...   July 5, 2008

This pedometer was way too complicated for me to set up -- five pages of small print -- but maybe that's to be expected for all the product offers. The manufacturer made it very easy to get a refund -- it was strictly no-hassle.

4 out of 5 stars Great Pedometer   June 13, 2008

I was given one of these as a gift and wear it every day to encourage me to get off my chair and move! I purchased 2 more for people on my web development team to help motivate them to go out and walk more. This pedometer is easy to use. The only problem I found is that I wanted one that was simple (only steps/miles) but this one also has a calorie conversion which I've never tried. I'm not sure they make that version any more. Still, it's a great product, though a bit pricey for what it is...

4 out of 5 stars Pedometer Gift   June 9, 2008

This was a gift for my mom who wanted to keep track of all the steps she took in a day. I was a little disappointed that the cover didn't open up a little further since the buttons are hard to get to if you do not have smaller hands, but my mother has used it a lot and has not had any trouble using it. I would recommend it there are a lot of good features and simple instructions.

5 out of 5 stars Good Performance   June 2, 2008
I really liked this product. I had a Pedometer before and wasn't very accurate and sometimes didn't work appropriately. This one is very good. I also liked the fact that it not only counts the steps, but also distance and calories. I also liked the price.

1 out of 5 stars Accusplit 170XLG   May 15, 2008

I have had several other pedometers, the latest was a Sharper Image, then the readings were not accurate, so I decided to get an Accusplit Eagle after reading about it. But I have found it very hard to set up. I am a senior citizen and I am not too electronically challenged, but this one which I have had for about four weeks, I cannot set up correctly.
I have asked my younger computer literate friends for help, they have tried, but the results are not accurate, e.g. I walk 50 steps, and it records 96. The only thing it gives me correctly is the minutes walked.
It was in the EU mode and now it is in the US mode, we have entered the stride lenght, etc., but I think it will take some kind of expert to set it up for me. I would not recommend purchase of this item.
