Not Very Accurate November 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered one of these to get the calorie and distance tracking that my br /Omron HJ-150 does not provide. After trying it out for a day I have decided to send it back- my first ever Amazon return of seven years of Amazon ordering. Every little jiggle set the thing off on steps, even when I decreased the sensitivity. If you take it off it adds steps, bound up the stairs with a bounce it adds extra steps, shake it a tad it adds extra steps. You can also hear the mechanism inside rattle with movement. It drives me crazy. I guess I am spoiled with my Omron. I can take it off and shake it like a maraca and it will not add anything to my steps. It also does not make a bit of noise- at all. The Omron is just spot on. I wish the High Gear had been the same, because it is thinner and keeps track of things the Omron does not. Oh well, I guess I will be looking for an Omron that has the features I am looking for.
Peodometers got us movin January 14, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
We purchased 20 for our entire staff. They arrived quickly, worked well and we are charting our progess. These also show steps and miles. Great product and service.
Pretty good AND inexpensive! November 28, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have owned this pedometer for about a month now and I am pleased with it. I have never used one before so i have nothing to compare it to. I have noticed that sometimes it will add steps to my count but there is a way to change the sensitivity of the pedometer so it won't register every movement as a step (I just keep forgetting to adjust it!!). The readout is clear and I haven't had any problems with it reseting accidently on me. It is great to look at it at the end of the day and see how far I've walked just doing every day things! Also, the milage and calorie counters are great too.
Great product for the price November 11, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
For a $5 pedometer is a great deal. It's easy to setup and the sensitivity adjustment works well. It takes a couple of try-and-error to get the right sensitivity, otherwise will not record your steps or record every movement, but in the end is accurate enough (I would say 2-3% error on step count).br /
