Like many of us, Liz balances family and career, leaving little time for fitness. After several unsuccessful attempts to achieve her fitness goals and shed the pregnancy weight-gain of her third child, Liz turned to a personal trainer for advice. While working with a trainer, Liz realized the key to getting in shape and staying in shape is to practice smart eating habits, monitoring calorie intake, and using a heart rate monitor to ensure that she exercises at the right level. Liz realized there wasn't a product available on the market that would easily help her follow her trainer?s advice.p Liz didn't have time to read labels and carry a calorie journal in her purse, nor did she have much patience for the uncomfortable chest strap she had to wear to get her heart rate. She knew there had to be a better way, so Liz used her technology and marketing savvy to create Mio, the world?s first heart rate monitor to work without a chest strap. And, it didn't stop with just heart rate, as Mio also has a patented calorie management system that offers a straightforward approach to managing your diet. With the help of Mio and a balanced diet, Liz was able to shed those unwanted pounds and gain the benefits that come with improved fitness: more energy, more vitality, and less stress, and help many others do the same with the creation of Mio's products.p strongWhat's in the Box?/strongbr Mio Sport Select Heart Rate Watch, instructions, warrantyp strongManufacturer Warranty/strongbr 1 yearp

Mio monitor July 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Mio is an okay heartrate monitor. It works most of the time, but can be temperamental. When it doesn't work right, it makes you wonder how accurate the readings are altogether.
Mio sport Heart rate watch June 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With rencent bypass surgery,My cardiac rehab staff said a heart rate watch would make easy for me check my heart rate. They said that MIO was the best for the price. It is always good to have them set it the first time with there Equipment. works great..
Very accurate June 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for medical reasons for a recent rapid heart rate. Mine has gone up to 172 and in the description, this item is suppose to register up to 199. I checked this at a recent cardiologist appointment and it was a perfect match to there readings. It is accurate, quick and easy to use and I highly recommend it. I have had no problems except having to breath lightly on my finger tips sometimes to moisten them slightly, but that has been rare. I've had this monitor for almost a month. I wear and taking readings all day every day.
Excellent while it worked June 4, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product was great when it worked but unfortunately, it stopped working after a week and a half. After a week the watch settings went back to the default settings, after 3 days of this, I returned it.br /br /I tried to exchange it but it is no longer sold by Amazon.
Large watch April 30, 2008 This watch is a bit larger than I expected and is a bit too large for my small wrist. I wish I had bought the women's version instead, but that is my fault. The watch itself is great and takes heart rate consistently. Functions are clearly labeled and easy to use. I use it to monitor my heart rate in the morning before I get up, it's very convenient!
