Please check your size! November 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic Heart Rate strap for multi-purpose exercisers. Because the unit is so small, and user servicable for batteries, it is unlikely to be a problem for most people to use it for years. The only reason I have to take a star away is clarity of sizeing. The Med-XL band states that it is for 27" - 54"; the XS-S labels itself for 22" - 32". My measurement is 30"; so in theory I could use either band; but in reality, I'm about as large as you can go on the XS-S band; if you truly were trying to wear it as a 31.5" range, it would be performing chest compression; not just measuring your heart rate. If you really have a 31" or above span that you need to cross, do yourself a favour, and get the larger band!
I can twist! July 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So the transmitter that comes with the heart rate monitors is awful. It's fine if you're just running, but as soon as you twist to one side, the darn thing pops off. This transmitter stays in place when I'm leaping around like a lunatic, I love it! It's also easier to keep wet.br /br /The only issue I have, is that I've been using it for about two months now and for the past few weeks, I don't know if it's the watch or the transmitter, but it takes an awful long time to pick up my heart rate and it'll drop in the first few minutes too. Once I get a little sweaty, it's fine, but before then, I don't know what's going on.
A great replacement to the original May 25, 2008 My original coded transmitter's battery died, and I had to find a new transmitter. The Polar WearLink Coded Transmitter feels more comfortable since it's less bulky than the original, and the best thing about it is it's replaceable battery. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace their original transmitter.
Very Comfortable!!! April 29, 2008 Works perfectly with my Polar F6 Heart Rate Monitor watch and definitely more comfortable than the T31 T34 transmitters.
WAAY better than the original chest strap April 9, 2008 This chest strap is way more comfortable than the older version. It's actually wearable, and it fits pretty well. I bought the XS/S, and it is small indeed! I'm very little, and I would only have an extra inch or so to let it out if I were any bigger, so be careful there. This model is a definitely improvement. If you're using the older, plastic model-- UPGRADE!! You'll be so much happier.
